This year our celebration of Zamenhof’s birthday will take place online this weekend on 28th November. In normal times the programme would consist of Lunch, followed by a Talk, and cutting of the Cake with Coffee / Tea. To replicate that as closely as possible we will start with a ‘Screen Lunch’ at 13:00 where those who wish may eat their lunch at their internet device while others do the same. At 14:00 we will have an ‘Open Talk’ consisting of chat and those participants who wish may deliver a short talk (say up to 10 minutes) on a topic of their choosing. Finally, at 15:00 we will celebrate Zamenhof’s birthday with a ‘Screen Toast’ with a cupcake or other patisserie and a glass of wine. The day will close at 17:00 for any of us who remain!

Ĉi-jare ni celebros Zamenhoftagon rete ĉi-semajnfine la 28an de novembro. Por pleje sekvi normalon ni okazigos ‘Ekranolunĉon’ je 13:00. Tiuj, kiuj volas povos manĝi sian lunĉon antaŭ sia retaparato kun aliaj partoprenantoj dum babilado. Je 14:00 okazas ‘Malferma Babilo’ kaj tiuj membroj, kiuj volas, rajtos prezenti mallongan prelegeton (ĝis 10 minutoj) pri kiu ajn temo. Fine, je 15:00, ni celebros la memoron de Zamenhof per kuketo aŭ alia dolĉaĵo kun glaso da vino kaj babilado. La fermo okazos je 17:00 – se iuj ankoraŭ restos!
