Volunteers are being sought to help with the holding in Scotland of a major Esperanto event in 2021.
La Internacia Ligo de Esperantistaj Instruistoj (the International League of Esperanist Teachers) is considering the possibility of holding its annual congress in Edinburgh in 2021 – probably in the week before the World Congress takes place in Belfast!
ILEI is committed to the furtherance of Esperanto in education, and links Esperantist educationalists from across the world to discuss and develop the teaching of our language. They also organise events and publications. There is more about ILEI on their website and on the English and Esperanto Wikipedias.
To assist the development of the idea of the 2021 ILEI congress coming to Edinburgh, we’re appealing for members and speakers in Scotland who would be interested in forming a local committee to help out at our end of arrangements. If you have any interest or expertise in education or events, whether within the Esperanto world or not, all the better!

La Internacia Ligo de Esperantistaj Instruistoj pripensas la eblecon okazigi sian jarkongreson en Edinburgo en 2021 – verŝajne en la semajno antaŭ kiam la Universala Kongreso okazos en Belfasto!
ILEI celas la progresigon de Esperanto en edukado, kaj ligas esperantistajn edukistojn el la tuta mondo por diskuti kaj disvolvigi la instruadon de nia lingvo. Ĝi ankaŭ organizas eventojn kaj publikaĵojn. Troviĝas pli pri ILEI en ĝia retejo kaj en la angla kaj esperanta Vikipedioj.
Por helpi la evoluigon de la ideo de la 2021 ILEI-kongreso venonta al Edinburgo, ni petas por membroj kaj parolantoj en Skotlando kiuj interesus krei lokan komitaton por helpi pri nia flanko de aranĝoj. Se vi havas intereson aŭ sperton pri edukado aŭ eventoj, ĉu en la Esperanto-mondo aŭ ne, des pli bone!
